Our distinctive Malay Unity collection is a reinterpretation of the Maphilindo flag. This design first appeared to the global public in 1963 following the introduction of the first-ever proposed Southeast Asian superstate, known as Maphilindo. The moon and sun represent the unity of the people of Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
