MALAY UNITY HATS ARE HERE!

MALAY UNITY HATS ARE HERE!

Our Malay Unity collection has arrived.

Showcasing our reinterpretation of the Maphilindo flag, this collection raises up the message of Malay Unity or unifying the people of Malaysia, Philippines, and Indonesia.

Maphilindo was a non-political Southeast Asian superstate that made its first appearance to the global public in 1963. Initiated by the famed Dr. José Rizal, unifying Malay people due to the artificial boundaries imposed by colonial occupiers, Dr. Rizal emphasized the shared ancestry, cultural traditions, and societies of Malay people.

The sun and stars represent the Philippines and the crescent moon signifies the Muslim populations of Indonesia and Malaysia. Together, these symbols represent the legacy of Maphilindo.
